Some of the finest and significant things in our lives have been small – at the start. Small steps, small parcels, small gems, small beginnings, a series of small steps and even small cars. It is the small things which can become significant times. moments, memories and foundational steps for a chosen pathway.
You can’t expect sudden success without work. The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary. The road to success has disappointments, failures, obstacles and detours. You need a roadmap, determination, tenacity and perseverance to reach your final goal and achieve your vision.
Success is the combination of accomplishing many small goals; step by step. The achievement of many small steps, culminates in the ultimate goal pinnacle. As the famous saying goes, when man stepped onto the moon, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Now that project comprised what looked like, a series of insurmountable milestones. But the NASA team planned it and it was achieved.
There is no shame in starting small, making small decisions and small plans to climb incremental steps. There is a proverb which says, ‘line upon line, precept upon precept’. This means building a good life and success requires a strong foundation and that means starting out by taking small steps.
