Getting Ready to Soar

Do you really want to soar? You can’t take off to your destination successfully, when you’re burdened with excess baggage. You need to identify, eliminate and conquer; your fears, your loss and grief, your uncontrolled emotions like anger and jealousy, and your dead wood of bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness, because these things have no life – only death and grief.

Becoming strong and unshakable and ready to soar, requires the following framework to act as a character and emotional ‘SAFE’ health check;

  • Stocktake what makes you happy and gives you a feeling of fun now? What are the sweet spots in your life NOW?
  • Avoid the Approval of people – it is a trap! You don’t need it – stay Authentic.
  • Fortify your mind and heart with faith in strong beliefs and values so the winds of change won’t blow you over. Ask yourself, why do I believe my chosen values are so important to me? Challenge yourself and drill down to find the rock of your foundation.
  • Eliminate and conquer fear, by kicking it in the face, with faith and courage.

Courage is the determination to face fear head on. Courage is not the absence of fear – it is the will to persevere. Steely determination, tenacity and persistence will be major factors in reaching your goals.

A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence.
