How many times have we felt so anxious we then become completely overwhelmed? Anxiety can cause our mind to turn to everything that is wrong and every possible worst outcome, like breaking a leg when we fall over. How did I think of that? If that a fear I might have? Why do our minds go to that worst possible scenario? Surely that is a sign that we are anxious about something or something else.
We are pretty good when it comes to self sabotage. We seem to have a default to think of the worst. How did our minds get to that place?
It\’s important in these times to remind ourselves of the wonderful gifts and talents we have. What rationale reasons might we have for something to go wrong? Really?
I\’ve come to a place that says we can develop a default mindset of overcoming. No matter what we face, we need to train our mind to go to a place of victory. A place of our best selves. A place where we imagine the best life for ourselves and for those we love.
We must focus daily on being grateful for our gifts, thinking of ourselves only in a position of victory and imagining ourselves going up and over the mountainous obstruction. This is an overcoming mindset. This is what we need to develop, meditate on and believe.
God will complete the good work He’s started in your life! Our responsibility is to believe He will and not self-sabotage.
