Values
Evidence shows there are four common characteristics of leaders who people are willing to follow. These characteristics are Trust, Compassion, Stability and Hope.
It has been my aim to demonstrate these attributes as much as possible in relation to staff and volunteers for whom I’ve been responsible. If we don’t develop and strengthen these four traits, few will respect us or want to follow.
Before we can truly lead, we must have a strong knowing of who we are and be secure in knowing we are accepted, have belonging and are valued. Knowingly or unknowingly we are always searching for these three.
